BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – 2022/10/23: Activists from Amnesty International march with a banner about the climate crisis during the climate change demonstration march. Thousands of people gathered at the Brussels North station to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis. The march was organized by The Climate Coalition (a national non-profit organization that unites more than 90 organizations around the theme of climate justice). Demonstrators were calling for policymakers to take on the energy crisis with a single energy policy between the regions and the Federal State which will allow Belgium to achieve 100% renewable energy before 2050, and to confront the agricultural crisis with a long-term vision promoting the transformation of the agricultural sector with nature and climate at its center.
