Rome Consensus 2.0 on International Overdose Awareness Day 2021International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind. Time to Remember. Time to Act. Dear Rome Consensus friends and supporters,

We’re a few weeks away August 31st, International Overdose Awareness Day.

There is still so much we can achieve together and this year we will be joining the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, raise awareness and remember without stigma those who have died.

As you know, the Rome Consensus 2.0 will join the Penington Institute‘s global campaign through social media. We recently launched a video series about Overdose Awareness that will be shared on a weekly basis between now and August 31st.

This week, we are pleased to share two more videos with you! Thanks to Jamie Bridge, Chief Operating Officer, International Drug Policy Consortium (IDPC) and to Michele Worobiec, President of the National Alliance for Model State Drug Laws (NAMSDL) for supporting this initiative on International Overdose Awareness Day 2021!
